Welcome to the Age of Consent. For many years, businesses and organizations have been required or advised to explain how they process and control personal data. In 2018, the situation was broadened and deepened when the European Union put the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) into effect. Security breaches at major international corporations drove legislators to clarify the responsibilities that data collectors and processors have to protect sensitive information.

Katherine and I are members of Wycliffe Bible Translators, Inc., an organization registered in the United States. Our ministry with Wycliffe is supported through donations sent to Wycliffe USA by individuals and churches who express a preference for the our ministry. Wycliffe Germany is a distinct organization that is registered as Wycliff e.V. I have been seconded by Wycliffe USA to Wycliffe Germany to work as their IT manager. Katherine works as a volunteer.
